Fall 2008

Starting from the top...the boys seem to have these wires hanging out of their ears frequently...both enjoy their MP3s. Isaac and Clay also went elk hunting in Eastern Washington...Erika with some friends and an instructor at her ballroom's Harvest Ball fundraiser. I got to chaperone Victoria's limo ride she received for all her sales in a fundraising event. And last but not least, Halloween with Victoria in her Peacock Princess outfit and Isaac and his friend, Alijah as detectives!

Sorry I Haven't Written In A While

This is a post to remind myself that I need to update the blog a little more regularly.

Per my eldest daughter's request, I will try to keep up with the kids and all our family doings!

I earnestly want to be better in posting! Especially since Clay bought me a new, LARGER memory stick for my camera for Christmas. I should have no excuse not to have a few photos to comment on once in a while. :)

Enjoying Dad's 82nd birthday in Utah

Alyssa and I arrived in Utah on Dad's birthday! We joined Kurt, Jill and little A.J. for a Birthday BBQ Bash! Mom was even able to join us from the Care Facility! Jill's parents helped Dad celebrate and we all fussed over A.J. Isn't he adorable!

Clay graciously stayed home with the kids in Seattle so I could enjoy this time with my Dad! Love, Bianca

Summertime Outing

After a couple of weeks of rain on and off, we
took advantage of a sunny day and decided to make the most of it. So we took a bus to a park and
had hours to explore. From crossing streams and bridges, to eating
blackberries, "making rain" and following trails. It was a day well spent.

Finding a perfect part of the stream with a clay bed, the kids had fun creating all sorts of objects. We even found a rock that resembled a dinosaur egg!

Erika's Ballroom Dance

In March, 2008 Erika went to her first National Amateur Ballroom Dance Competition in Provo, Utah. There her non-profit dance company, Pacific Ballroom Dance, competed in both the Latin and Standard Medleys. Erika was in the Latin Medley. This was the first year the Company compete in Latin and came in 3rd Place. They were thrilled. Their medley used a compilation of Michael Buble songs! In this first picture, Erika is on the left, second couple from the bottom.

Catching up from last year!

Elder Kyle Malmstrom entered the MTC on November 14, 2007! On our way we stopped to visit Oma. It was emotional for Kyle; excited to go to Barcelona, Spain but he knew he would miss the family a lot! Interested in reading his weekly email? just email us at clayandbianca@gmail.com

A New Adventure for the Malmstroms

When I first heard the word "blog" I thought..."what a crazy idea, do people really read them?" Then after seeing one I thought, "totally cool, that's what my family needs...I hope it's easy to do!" So, here I am, making our first family blog! Since my kids are far more skilled with computers, internet, etc. they will more than likely be updating it more often then me! So enjoy our first Blog! ;)
